How do you work with adult dyslexic learners?

Again, the key is personalising the lessons based on the learner's strengths, interests and specific needs.

I have helped one learner to complete a university degree course, moving from earlier scientific studies to an essay-based subject for the first time.

I have helped one student to develop  personalised note-taking, revision and essay-planning styles, which matched her own specific strengths and needs.

I have helped French speakers to learn English in a more visual, colourful and dynamic manner, when the normal note-taking and chalk-and-talk methods had failed to meet their own learning styles.
